Day 1 took the riders from Castle Island in Boston to South Kingston Rhode Island. They rode about 60 ish miles today that was pretty uneventful. Boston started us off very chilly then it got a bit warmer then back to cold. Tomorrow is supposed to be cold and rainy. My Texas blood is not thick enough for this weird East Coast weather. ;-) The pic below is courtesy of the awesome firemen at Stoughton MA fire station who let me climb on their roof to get it. I was called Rapunzel several times and also encouraged to not "jump." Had they had one of those old school trampoline things to jump onto I totally would have though! Time to get some rest. More early to rise to hurry up and wait then drive to NY.
